Three winegrowers, three wines
Wine enjoyment to the power of three
In close collaboration with three Austrian wineries, Weingut am Berg, Weingut Schindler and Weingut StephanO, we have created three exceptional wines: Aurora, Veritas and Minerva. These three exceptional wines were created in three great wine regions of Austria: the Kamptal DAC (Lower Austria), the Leithaberg DAC and the Eisenberg DAC (Burgenland). Each of these regions stands for wines with a strong character, characterised by a sophisticated interplay of soil and climate. As such, all three wines are a reflection of their terroir.
Each winemaker brings their unique expertise and creative vision to get the best out of the grapes and create an unforgettable pleasure. The result of this collaboration are three brilliant wines that impress with their complexity, depth and finesse. Each sip tells the story of the landscape, the climate and the passion of the winemakers, which is reflected in every single drop. Our wines are a tribute to the diversity and excellence of Austrian wine production and offer an unrivalled taste experience for true wine lovers.

Aurora
Aurora was produced by Weingut am Berg. The Gruber family's Weingut am Berg is located in the idyllic village of Mittelberg in Lower Austria's Kamptal. Three generations of the Grubers have devoted themselves with passion and dedication to viticulture in a natural, mixed farming system. For us, viticulture is not just a way of life, but also a passion. As children of this passion, we pay special attention to our wines and follow their development from the first fermentation burp to full maturity. The wines are characterised by their environment as much as by their upbringing: the unique terroir of the Kamptal, whose combination of location, soil and the coolness of the Waldviertel is predestined for viticulture. Aurora is a cuvée from the 2019 vintage - made from the best sites and the most important grape varieties of the Weingut am Berg: Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
Wine description
Powerful, compact, dark-toned and underlaid with deep herbal spice, dried apricots, a hint of malt with a fine acidity network that brings the powerful substance into shape, sensitive use of wood with a lot of potential.
Veritas
Veritas was produced by the Schindler winery. The Schindler winery in Mörbisch, Burgenland, is run as a family business. Around 70% of the 15 hectares of vineyards are dedicated to red wine cultivation. However, Schindler also produces fine white and sweet wines as well as various "Franzzante" variations. With the Cuvée d'Or and the Merlot, the Schindler winery has established itself at the top of the domestic wine industry. To describe Veritas 2017 or even to understand this powerful cuvée, you need to know the idea behind it and how it came about: namely to create a great wine from a great red wine vintage that need not shy away from international comparison, which is characterised by power and potential and which is only bottled after more than 50 months of maturation in two new, selected barriques! The ripe and dark aroma of the Merlot is almost refreshingly disturbed by the cassis nuances of the Cabernet, while the powerful wood-tasting aroma of the new barrels nestles like a blanket over the fruit and spice, creating a harmonious and powerful overall impression on the nose.
Wine description
The power on the palate is captivating. Melting and tannin structure characterise the first impression. The variety of flavours changes by the minute and leads to an almost never-ending finish. Here, too, black forest berries and ripe cherries make an initial impact before spicy liquorice, cloves, delicate nougat and caramel linger.
Minerva
Minvera was produced by the StephanO winery. The StephanO winery is located in southern Burgenland. Character, depth, flavour, exoticism, classicism - good wines are like a comedy by Shakespeare. Stephano, the intoxicated cellar master from Shakespeare's famous comedy "The Tempest", is therefore not just the godfather of Das-Wein-Gut StephanO by chance. Monika and Stephan Oberpfalzer from Weingut StephanO produce top wines in Deutsch-Schützen and Eisenberg with the same passion as Shakespeare's StephanO. Great importance is attached to natural processes in the cellar. The StephanO winery works 100% with spontaneous fermentation in concrete eggs or wooden vats. The winery has carried the "Nachhaltig Austria" seal of approval since 2017. Minerva - The embodied expression of southern Burgenland. Our Blaufränkisch reflects the essence of this unique region in every nuance. Restrained elegance meets unmistakable character. We have carefully selected the exquisite grapes from the two best vineyards of the Eisenberg DAC and matured them to perfection for 18 months in a new 500-litre barrel and then 24 months in barriques. This allows the flavours to fully develop and gives this wine its incomparable finesse. We are proud to present Minerva, the latest masterpiece from StephanO. Savour this special creation, which reflects the history and passion of our winery in every bottle!
